Community Developement and Good Relations Courses available in Portadown and Banbridge
Running from 7.00pm – 9.30pm for 5 nights, this OCN accredited course will focus on Community Development, Good Relations and Civic Leadership.
Training is available at:
Portadown Town Hall, Portadown on Tuesday 28th February, Tuesday 6th March, Tuesday 20th March and the date for the last day of training to be decided by participants.
Old Technical Building, Banbridge on Wednesday 29th February, Wednesday 7th March, Wednesday 21st March and the date for the last day of training to be decided by participants.
This course will examine local contentious issues and how they can be explored using a community development approach. You will work towards an OCN Level 2 in Good Relations and at the same time you will have the opportunity to design a Good Relations based project with the support of a mentor who will guide you through the process.
Training courses are provided free of charge as they are funded by the European Union’s PEACE III PRogramme managed by the Special EU Programme Body and delivered by the Engaging in Good Relations Team.
Even though the courses are free, they can cost up to ₤200 per place so if you wish to cancel you must do so at least three working days before course commencement.

Courses places are allocated on a first come first served basis so book early to avoid disappointment.
A EGR Booking Form and must be completed in full and returned to the PEACE III Engaging in Good Relations Team for processing.
